Research: The effect of happiness on heart health

Most of us associate stress with heart disease, and recent research indeed suggests that people who are happy, more optimistic and have meaning in their lives tend to have better cardiovascular health. Julia Boehm, Ph.D., professor of psychology at Chapman University, shares her findings within this area of study.
